I'm working on a new DrillnBass / Mid-Tempo set, but it's a bit too busy. I'm going to try finding some milder songs to have some breaks in the set. A lot of the songs do have some fun, interesting elements, so I do like where it's going. Hopefully I'll have a recording up by next weekend.

Ready for some lore???

I started DJ'ing last year after being asked to help with some weddings / school dances / etc. I didn't really want to do it since I don't listen to much top 40, but I gave it a shot. After doing it for a year or so, I realized I really liked DJing but didn't like those type of gigs. On the first of the year, I bought my own gear and started learning how to DJ for the scenes and music I enjoyed. It's been almost a year and I can say I'm very happy with how far I've progressed and I hope to continue improving and playing out.

Here's a wrap of what happened this year:
1. Open Decks x4
2. Fremont Goth Night x5
3. Queen of the Damned Nu Metal / Emo Night
4. Necto Red Room (Emo / Nu Metal / Etc)
5. Recorded and posted 6 sets

Thanks to everyone that showed up to gigs and listened to my sets online. I'd also like to thank all the DJs that gave me positive yet critical feedback. All the advice I got was spot on.

A special thanks to Dj Darks Choir, Hʌvok, DJ XYLA TOXIC, and Phil for the chances to play out :).
