Greetings friend in Michigan! Even though Danielle and I are thriving in Alaska, I still miss the Keweenaw and the lovely community there. I took many of the lessons learned at Root Cellar Farm to write a book! I hope it helps more farmers and gardeners in the UP (and beyond!) keep and sell veggies deep into winter!
My new book, Beyond the Root Cellar, gets into the art and science of storage at scales both large and tiny. It's set to release this December through Chelsea Green Publishing but is available for pre-orders now (most places books are sold). Pre-ordering is the best way to support an author and helps more people to see the book.
