During the darkest days of my depression I felt ashamed of the feelings I was experiencing because in my mind I had so much to be grateful about. I felt so ashamed that I wanted to hide from everyone including GOD my Heavenly Father. In this video I open up and share the memories of my experience and what I think helped me get through my DARKEST DAYS.

I understand if you're feeling ALONE, but I know that GOD is always there with us even during our worst days. He says "come as you are", this means your past doesn't matter, how you dress, how you speak, what you're doing today... none of this matters. God is always there waiting with open arms.

Hello everyone and welcome to My Younger Self Media this is your friend Mauricio. Last week I shared a short video about “The Hero’s Journey” and I must say it’s my favorite video I’ve made so far because I believe it begins to define what this YouTube Project is about. You see it’s been years since I wanted to start this channel, but I couldn’t define what the subject of my project is. Now I know that I need to share my journey going from “who I thought I was” to “Who I’m truly meant to be.” And for the purpose of these videos, we will call that “Going through The Tunnel”. If you missed last week’s video, I highly recommend that you watch it, and I will post the link below in the description. Have you ever wanted something in your life so bad for so long and when you finally get it you realize it doesn’t make you feel the way you thought it would? It seems that something is missing… that you might have been wrong about wanting this thing in the first place and that there must be more to life than just getting “the next thing”? If so, then stick around for the rest of this video as I share my own experience with precisely these feelings.
