Taylor - With a new year comes new beginnings, and this is where mine starts…
Nearly 20 years ago, there was a party with a speaker, a disco ball hanging from a bungee cord, and a kid trying to make a little gas money. Little did I know, that party would turn into something special - tmt Productions. Dad and Trent took a chance on investing with me. This was my way to have fun and make some money as a DJ.
The early days were full of 13th Birthday parties, Sweet Sixteens, Social Afterhours and Community events. Boy, did I think I was the man... It's a wonder I'm still alive from trying to tell Trent & Mike how we were going to run things. We quickly outgrew the small trailer, and the small events turned into school dances, proms, reunions, sorority socials, formals, weddings, and church retreats. With bigger trailers and more equipment, came more events!
I had the opportunity to meet and work with so many incredible people and vendors over the years. The sky was the limit. For many, many years. Then, the wonderful Covid…so many canceled and rescheduled events. But, it took that little break to make me realize that I'm burnt out - completely tired & exhausted from working my full time job, raising a family, and maintaining 150+ events each year. I made a decision. I would finish everything on the books, but the time has come for me to step away.
tmt isn't going anywhere & I can't wait to see where it goes in the future! So, from the bottom of my heart - Thank you for the love, support, and the incredible ride!
