Waffle explanation and rules:
A waffle is a (r)affle.. (some refer to waffles as "boards") FB does not like and flags the real word.
Pick a spot or spots at a set "donation". a completely random number will be drawn for the winner. Screen record or live to be posted in the comments. Prefer random.org. I will give an example on the page and in "features".
1. Be nice, no arguing, bullying or nasty remarks to ANYONE, please be adults.
2. All donations due once spots are filled, WITHIN 12 HOURS unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon by waffle owner and donator. The waffle owner has to make available forms of receiving donation. CA, PP, VMO, etc.
3. Once all spots are squared up, the WAFFLE OWNER is responsible for running, or "ripping" the waffle, or getting a totally random draw winner, AND attaching the draw in the comments, or going live, tagging all participants in the live and making video available to participants. I suggest sending a copy of draw to participants, but this is not mandatory. random dot org is a great tool.
4. The winning participant should receive a private message advising results of the draw, by the waffle owner, and provide shipping address, if not previously provided. The waffle owner will have 48 hours to send winnings, unless proper communication between winner and owner reach an agreement as to why the winnings would not be shipped and winner agrees.
5. Shipping: Free shipping to U.S. contiguous 48 states. Anything outside the U.S. is on the agreement and responsibility of the waffle owner. When deciding on an amount per spot, take shipping in consideration. For example if an item retails for $25, and will cost $5 to ship....that would be $30 divided by the number of spots for participants....simply put.
6. Disputes: All disputes should be handled by owner and winner, but in the event that there is a dispute, I will 100% decide on a conclusion as fairly and quickly as possible after hearing both sides, calmly and like adults. This may be a simple fix to a removal of a page member. I do not have a stake in the game from any waffle and this will keep it fair and just.
7. What can be waffled?: Anything outdoor SPORTS and RECREATION related. You know FB rules, so I expect them to be followed. If the page is put at risk, I will remove any members necessary. If it is anything questionable, ask me first, before posting a waffle/board. There is certain terminology that may be acceptable, but still may get flagged, removed or banned.
8. Number of Waffles/Boards/Posts per member is 3 maximum. Once a waffle is completed, another may be posted. For a waffle to be completed, a random draw must be attached to post, winner notified and acknowledged and a tracking picture or number must be posted in a comment, The description must note all steps completed and given a 24 hour time after complete to let admin know that the post can be removed, OR 24 hours after, the waffle owner can delete the waffle and results themselves.
Bottom line, this page is for enjoyment. It is community. It is to help folks get things they may not be able to afford normally, or find normally.
If you use the page for waffles, give as much as you take. If you advertise your business, help another business owner. Share another business or participate in their waffle if they post one.
Auctions and businesses on other pages can be shared, if the other businesses or pages support this page. Again, all up to my discretion as fair and just as I can be. The goal is no drama. I want to give everyone a heads up. I DO NOT DO OR PUT UP WITH DRAMA. I WILL REMOVE A MEMBER QUICK, FAST AND IN A HURRY IF I CATCH ANY DRAMA. PLEASE KEEP THE PEACE.
