Join us for the 5th annual Maine Authors Book Festival on August 24, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Thomaston Public Library! For the first time, we are excited to invite authors from around the state to apply to participate. A portion of the proceeds from book sales will benefit The Coastal Children’s Museum and the Thomaston Public Library. All submissions will be vetted and approved. MWPA members receive a 20% discount on table fees. Application deadline is August 1st. To apply, visit www.MaineBookFestival.com. We are excited to see you there!

The whole Maine Authors Publishing staff (including our amazing new intern, Amelia Jacobson, from Bowdoin College), celebrating the talented Molly Larson’s retirement at the Rockport Harbor Hotel. Later, we walked a few blocks to the 2024 Maine Literary Awards at Pascal Hall. Big night!

BOOK SIGNING: If there's one you can attend, please let it be this one: Wed. JUNE 5, from 5pm-6pm, Hospice of Southern Maine, 390 US-1, Scarborough, ME. I will be donating a large portion of each book sold that evening to Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, where Ted spent his last 28 days, where we were both cocooned by a loving staff and our close ones.
