Attention Sjoberg’s customers:



Sjoberg’s has been under a massive cyber-attack since Christmas Eve. It is disrupting Internet access, streaming, telephone, and television services. We have been working with our connectivity provider to fix the issue. This is a widespread problem affecting more than just our area. You may have heard about this attack on the news. There are currently several government agencies involved in finding the source and perpetrators of this criminal activity. We are hopeful that our connectivity provider can mitigate the problem so things can go back to normal as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

We have been getting reports from subscribers regarding emails they have received about the need to update their email security settings. Another popular scam message might claim your email password is about to expire. Please know that we will never send an email regarding issues like that. These are phishing emails and are not from our service. Clicking a link in a phishing email may start a download of a virus, or it may send you to a page where you are asked to provide sensitive information that can be used to steal your identity or your money.

We will never ask you for sensitive information via email, nor will any reputable business. If you receive an email asking you to provide your password, credit card or bank account information, social security number, or other personal information, delete the message. If it is a company you do business with, and there is any question as to the legitimacy of the message, call the company that is supposedly requesting the information using a phone number from a recent bill, not from the email message you received requesting the personal information. Be aware that some phishing messages can look very convincing.

If there is ever a question whether an email from our service is legitimate, you can call our Internet Support Team at 218-681-3044.

Important Notice: Sun Outages Coming Soon 🌞

Dear Sjoberg's Customers,

Sun outages are a temporary disruption of cable TV service caused by solar interference. They occur twice a year, during the spring and autumn equinoxes when the sun is directly in line with the satellites transmitting your cable signals. The Fall sun outage season can start as early as late September and run through October. 🍁

Sun outages typically last for a few minutes, but can last for up to an hour in some cases. During this time, you may experience pixelation, freezing, or complete loss of service. ‼️

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. There is no way to prevent sun outages from happening, but information about what is happening can help understand the problem. ✨

If you do experience a sun outage, there is nothing you can do but wait for it to pass. The outage should resolve once the sun moves out of alignment with the satellite. ✅
