We have been getting reports from subscribers regarding emails they have received about the need to update their email security settings. Another popular scam message might claim your email password is about to expire. Please know that we will never send an email regarding issues like that. These are phishing emails and are not from our service. Clicking a link in a phishing email may start a download of a virus, or it may send you to a page where you are asked to provide sensitive information that can be used to steal your identity or your money.

We will never ask you for sensitive information via email, nor will any reputable business. If you receive an email asking you to provide your password, credit card or bank account information, social security number, or other personal information, delete the message. If it is a company you do business with, and there is any question as to the legitimacy of the message, call the company that is supposedly requesting the information using a phone number from a recent bill, not from the email message you received requesting the personal information. Be aware that some phishing messages can look very convincing.

If there is ever a question whether an email from our service is legitimate, you can call our Internet Support Team at 218-681-3044.

Important Notice: Sun Outages Coming Soon 🌞

Dear Sjoberg's Customers,

Sun outages are a temporary disruption of cable TV service caused by solar interference. They occur twice a year, during the spring and autumn equinoxes when the sun is directly in line with the satellites transmitting your cable signals. The Fall sun outage season can start as early as late September and run through October. 🍁

Sun outages typically last for a few minutes, but can last for up to an hour in some cases. During this time, you may experience pixelation, freezing, or complete loss of service. ‼️

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. There is no way to prevent sun outages from happening, but information about what is happening can help understand the problem. ✨

If you do experience a sun outage, there is nothing you can do but wait for it to pass. The outage should resolve once the sun moves out of alignment with the satellite. ✅

✅ Latest UPDATE from Roku : ✅

We believe this issue is now resolved, and customers should see their OTA (Over the Air) channels again. If you still do not see your Live TV channels, Please perform a TV restart from the Settings menu by navigating to Home > Settings > System > Power > Restart.

Roku TV -

OTA (on-the-air) channels may not be showing up. We are aware that some people may not see their OTA channels.

First, try restarting your TV, which will solve this for most Roku TVs. Restart your TV from the Settings menu by navigating to Home > Settings > System > Power > Restart.

We are working to push out an update that will fix the issue for everyone. Thanks for your patience.

RokuTV performed a firmware upgrade last night, causing live, local channels to become unavailable for some of our customers. We are aware of the problem, and the team at Roku is actively working to fix it. In the meantime, the current hack is to disconnect your TV from the internet, and the channels should re-appear. However, once reconnected, the channels may disappear again. ‼️

Many users of both cable and antenna are experiencing this issue and it has been posted on a few different Roku forum threads. Roku is aware of this huge issue and trying to resolve it. ✅

If you are still experiencing issues, please don’t hesitate to give us a call, so we can get you squared away. We will post updates as they are available. 🙌

TRF and surrounding areas: Analog Channels Now Available Only Through QAM Digital! ‼️

Hey, Sjoberg's fam! We hope you are enjoying this summer. As it winds down, we are completing our conversion to digital at Sjoberg's. 😁

We are phasing analog channels out to make room for more digital channels and faster internet. This means your favorite TV channels, shows, and movies are still available in stunning, digital quality, but the analog channels will be discontinued in mid-August. ✨

Those who are already using a digital converter box will not be affected. If you currently use analog channels, the channels will be available, just in a different location! 😎

‼️ KVLY Planned Outage ‼️

Please be advised that KVLY will be performing power system upgrade work beginning at approximately 10:30 PM (central) on Friday, August 4 which will create an extended interruption of our program feeds for broadcast, cable, satellite, and streaming viewers.

The precise length of this outage is impossible to predict however we estimate it may extend for several hours, into the early morning of Saturday, August 5.
