At 24, Jimmy Green became a REALTOR® and has 22 proud years in the business. Jimmy’s hope for the future is sweet and simple; growing the family business and passing it on to his kids and beyond. “My grandson could be a 6th-generation REALTOR®,” Jimmy said. In 2019, Miriam Valencia transitioned from teaching high school special education to earning her real estate license. By June 2020, she fully committed to a career in real estate, and by September 2023, she had founded the successful brokerage, Alumbra Properties, which rapidly grew to 60 agents in less than a year. In just a couple of years, Miriam became a guiding light for her agents, clients, and community.

Miriam is a mom, REALTOR®, broker, business owner, and mentor. Recently recognized as a recipient of HAR’s 20 Under 40, she continues to be a guiding light in the real estate world. “That’s what I love about it,” she said. “You can do as much as you want: buy, sell, invest. There are no limits in real estate.

Michelle Marek’s competitive spirit, incomparable negotiation skills, and love for adventure have made her an incredible REALTOR® for the past eleven years. In 2019, she was named Houston’s Association of Realtors Top 20 Under 40. In 2021, she was named “Top 25” in Houston Business Journal: #12 for transactions and #17 for individual sales volume, in 2023 ranked #19 agent by sales volume and the accolades don’t stop there. Michelle loves to compete with herself, setting the next bar and enjoying the adventure.

“I’m always trying to do better and set the next bar. I’d love to be the top individual agent in all of Houston someday.” Luckily, Michelle hasn’t hit the glass ceiling in real estate. Let the next adventure begin.

Elsa Kiprotich is astounding. She speaks at least two languages: Swahili, and English. She has a degree in Bachelors in Business Administration, but her heart is in real estate. She is a wife and a mother of two beautiful children, a compassionate and dedicated community member, and an unstoppable go-getter who loves helping others’ dreams become a reality.

Holly Flaskamp is a beautiful mix of peace and passion, tranquility and adventure. She brings a certain calm to the stressful world of realty, but she is also a bit of a thrill-seeker including skydiving and scuba diving (with sharks!). Through calm and chaos, Holly is there for her clients. She has been called their guiding light.

For Holly, real estate is all about her people. “I love that we start as strangers,” she said, “and a few months later, when we close on their house, we’re saying, “I love you.” Holly’s compassion for her clients is the guiding light that shines so brightly toward their new homes, new lives, and new beginnings.

Native Houstonian Theresa Wychico wasn’t always a real estate agent, but she was undoubtedly meant to be one. Born and raised in Katy, Texas, Theresa currently lives in Cypress and has an office in Spring. No matter where she is, though, her heart resides with her clients and her team.

Most of all, Theresa is proud of her team. “They are all hard workers and have their clients’ best interest at heart,” Theresa explained. “Alpha wouldn’t be what it is without them. They all do the right thing. I’m happy to have created the environment Alpha has. To see people who come in with no experience knocking out deals left and right, I’m very proud of that. I give all the kudos to my team.”
