In honor of The Woodlands’ 50th Anniversary, a stunning new mural, "The Beauty of Nature in The Woodlands," was unveiled on October 17 at the base of The Millennium sculpture along The Woodlands Waterway. Created by local artists Amy Malkan and Marlo Saucedo and commissioned by Howard Hughes, the mural is now a gift for all to enjoy, celebrating the community’s deep connection to nature and the arts. 🌳

Both artists collaborated with local students to incorporate native elements, making the mural a community effort that speaks to the essence of The Woodlands — The Livable Forest.

Chef Emeril Lagasse and his wife Alden are making a difference with the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, bringing culinary, nutrition, and arts education to kids. Their standout program, Emeril’s Culinary Garden & Teaching Kitchen, teaches kids cooking and gardening, helping them build healthier habits and stronger academic skills. 🌱
