🎯 One of Denton's most famous signature events are just 2 days away, yes, we're talking about the 34th annual Denton Arts & Jazz Festival this weekend.
This three-day celebration of the arts at Quakertown Park features more than 3,000 professional and amateur performers on 6 stages showcasing the best in jazz, pop, rhythm & blues. You'll also experience various forms of dance, arts, crafts, children's activities and more. Fine artists and craftsmen come from all over to participate and sell in this juried show. Abundant food and beverage options, bars, tons of entertainment, and a huge kids' area keep the fun rolling all weekend.
The Denton Arts & Jazz Festival has earned a solid reputation for providing the finest in entertainment and art in the North Texas Metroplex area. Founded on the belief that all forms of art should be made available to the general public FREE OF CHARGE, the event has grown into one of the largest tourist attractions in North Texas and remains Denton’s signature event.

With the weather gettin' more tolerable now, Truck Yard located in Grandscape Texas in The Colony, might just be that place you've been hankerin' for. LIVE music, EVERY day, rotating food trucks and sneaky good adult beverages to wash it all down with.

The Truck Yard is a backyard party complete with truck beds and picnic tables for seating, mouthwatering food and brews, rotating food trucks and live music every night. Menu highlights include their Philadelphia style cheesesteak, and Smashburger. For drinks, try their brews from Second Rodeo and Beard Science Sour House, or a Truck Yard Margarita.

The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on Victor Eduardo Mendoza Mondragon, wanted for Failing to Stop and Render Aid – Collision Involving Death following a deadly two-vehicle crash on FM 429 in Terrell, TX on June 13, 2025.

🟥 This crash resulted in the tragic death of 18-year-old Brendan Ivy.
🟥 Mendoza Mondragon fled the scene on foot and remains at large.
