In a US first, surgeons at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston successfully performed a fully robotic heart transplant, replacing a failing heart without opening the chest or cutting the breastbone, using robotic tools to operate through small incisions.
The procedure reduced surgical trauma, blood loss, and infection risk, marking a major advance in transplant surgery by preserving the chest wall and enabling faster recovery, improved lung function, and lower chances of organ rejection.
The 45-year-old patient was discharged a month after the March operation without complications, with doctors calling the milestone a transformative moment.

🍪 When it's beginning to🔥heat up a bit here in the Lone Star State, most Texan's agree-it's time to head to the neighborhood family-friendly bar to cool off 🍷No, not that kind of bar, but something a tad more delicious, colorful, tantalizing to the palate and with a chocolate chip cookie on top perhaps?!. 🍪
The Yard Milkshake Bar which is a specialty treat concept eatery, which BTW was featured on the television show "Shark Tank", is just the place you want to be.
Check out some of their exclusive shake offerings such as The Bourbon Bandito® and 🌪The Texas Twister® as well as 16 other specialty shake creations including The Unicorn®, Cookie Monster®, Strawberries, and Cream Cheesecake ®, and The Mermaid®, to name a few. The Yard also features a Vegan specialty entitled “Not Milk?”® as well as gluten-free and lactose-free options. The Yard offers bowls and scoops, edible cookie dough, sundaes, floats, ice cream cakes, and pies, in addition to specialty shake options. 🍨

Our recommendation for musical entertainment tonight is none other than Ft. Worth's very own-The Unlikely Candidates, headlining the evening at RBC. These wizards-of-musical-artistry don't get to play DFW often, (even though this is their home-turf), so when they do... GO SEE THEM! You'll thank me later. LITTLE ELM- A flyer promoting a non-permitted beach party at Little Elm Beach began circulating on Snapchat and other social media platforms, encouraging high school students to gather at the park area near the Little Elm beach Saturday night.
As a result, a large crowd of juveniles arrived, and multiple mutual combat fights broke out throughout the park at approximately 8:00 PM. Officers from the Little Elm Police Department who were on scene monitoring the situation quickly requested assistance from surrounding agencies to ensure public safety. Reports from witnesses in attendance had stated that there were upwards of at least 1000 people and multiple fights had broken out after someone allegedly shot another person with a Taser. Witnesses indicate that there was a heavy police presence, along with other fire and emergency personnel. Various videos that are circulating on social media platforms show police officers armed with AR-style weapons patrolling on foot throughout the park.
At one point, reports were made that gunshots had been fired in the park. Residents in the nearby area had posted on social media outlets that they heard multiple gunshots from the area of the park, but the LEPD has not confirmed it. One juvenile was arrested, and other charges will be filed after completion of the investigation, according to the LEPD. Due to the disruptive nature of the gathering, the park was closed early for the evening.
