I am now coaching Master Swim workouts at the Christus St. Michael Fitness Center on Monday night at 6pm and Friday morning at 6am. Each swim is 1 hour and workouts are written for many different level of swimmer so don't feel that you have to be the best to attend. Cost is $10 for each swim. If you have a Fitness Center membership then come on by. If you don't then you can get a pool only pass for only $30/mo

One of my Christmas presents to myself was to build a standing workstation for my office for all the reasons listed in this article.

On a second note, as a swim coach I see lots of people with lots of issues simply because they sit at a computer all day. This article mentions tight hips but doesn't discuss tightening in the chest and shoulders which, if you have a cross over in your swim stroke, this could be one of the reasons.

Registration is now open! Starting on March 24th Transitions Endurance and the Christus St. Michael Fitness Center will be running a beginners triathlon training program leading into the Four States Triathlon in May.
