New Member Orientation

Terrell ISD will be having school this Thursday and Friday. However the district will be closely monitoring potential winter weather this week, and we want our families to be aware of our Inclement Weather Procedures. If a decision is made to either delay or cancel school, Terrell ISD will make every effort to inform our community by 5:00 a.m.

Families will be notified via the following communication channels:
1. A text notification will be sent via Remind to all parents, students, and staff who have subscribed to any Terrell ISD Remind class or campus.
2. An email will be sent to parents to the email address listed in Parent Portal. The email will come from [email protected].
3. An automated call will be delivered to phone numbers listed in Parent Portal.
4. A posting will be made on our district website www.terrellisd.org.
5. A posting will be made on our official Terrell ISD page.
6. News stations and local media outlets (In.Forney and Terrell Tribune) will be contacted. As a note, TISD does not control whether external news outlets choose to publish our information.

If the district does not make an announcement for closure or delay, then classes will proceed as normal. All decisions to either hold, cancel, or delay school will be made with the safety of our students and staff in mind.

Terrell Police Department has contacted Union Pacific about the railroad crossing arm being damaged at FM 148 / W Moore Ave.

Use caution in that area until the crossing arm has been repaired.

The Terrell Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a missing juvenile reported on January 4, 2025.

Isiah Lopez, 14 year old male, was last seen in the 100 blk of Fairmeade Drive.

He was last seen wearing a pink shirt and pink sweatpants.

He is 5’05, 120 lbs, black hair and brown eyes.

The Terrell Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a missing person reported on December 14, 2024.

Ricardo John D’Angelo Trevino, 27 year old male, was last seen in the 500 blk of N Virginia Ave on December 14, 2024

He was last seen wearing an Orlando Florida white shirt, gray sweatpants and white and black tennis shoes.

He is 5’10, 140 lbs, black hair and brown eyes.
