When I first invested in cryptocurrency, I would have never thought that I would be heading to Dubai years later for it 🇦🇪 But, here we are — taking the world by storm, one Divi Project Wallet at a time! While Dubai brought plenty of meetings, connections, and opportunities to the table, the memories I made in the city will last a lifetime. Headshots coming in hot 🔥, this client was very eager to get her headshots done and ready to launch her new Real Estate career. Well for me sometimes capturing media is more meaningful than others, and for those of you who don’t know, this is my beautiful wife and mother of our kiddos. In the game of life, too much stress can hold you back and drive you to burn out before you reach your goals. According to a recent study, more of us are experiencing serious stress than ever. Left unchecked, it can harm us psychologically, physically and professionally.

In preparation for a series of lectures on stress management for health care providers, I took a deep dive into the subject, looking for simple ways within one’s control to tackle the problem. I found a practice that will change your life for the better.

The problem with conference calls is that most attendees multi-task during them and rarely pay attention. That’s why they are rarely productive!

When I suggest video conferencing instead, where engagement is much higher, people tell me, “but conference calls are easier!” Well easier doesn’t mean more effective, that’s for sure. Our time is too valuable to spend it with others who are giving us less than half of their attention and even less focus.

In comments, tell me what you’ve done on conference calls besides participating. It’s OK, we are just sharing here. Can you confirm some things on this list? Is there something that’s not on the list that you’ve done during a conference call? In my experience, I remember wrapping Christmas gifts once during a looooooong “check in” conference call (that should have been an email). I remember saying as we closed, “Well, that’s a wrap!”
