Don't miss out! The highly anticipated Suzanne Camp Crosby: The Art of Life exhibit will be open to the public from June 3 through September 25. This exhibit is not to be missed!

Suzanne’s career as a highly regarded artist, creating art through the photographic medium, achieved extraordinary recognition and accomplishments, including exhibitions and collections across the United States. Crosby also taught generations of students at area colleges, including the Hillsborough Community College where she had been a professor of photography for 38 years. This retrospective exhibition was created to honor her legacy. To learn more about Suzanne and this exhibition, visit: https://www.fmopa.org/suzanne-camp-crosby-the-art-of-life/

ArtCart volunteer Call!

We are looking for volunteers to help with the ArtCart at Downtown Tampa Riverwalk. ArtCart is a mobile kiosk for our brochures that build awareness about upcoming programming. It is being implemented with the purpose of raising awareness about FMoPA by taking the museum outside of the Cube and bringing it directly to the public.

The dates we currently have can be covered by 2 to 3-hour shifts available on the last weekends of January, February, March, and April. We also have dates available on the first weekends of March and May.

To sign up, please fill out the volunteer/teen council forms on our website, https://www.fmopa.org/get-involved/ by 1/26/2022.

Master Your Phone (Family Edition) on May 8 at 12 PM. These days we don’t leave the house without a camera in our hand. Honestly, we don’t leave our bed without grabbing the camera first. Our children are the most photographed in history, but we still sometimes struggle with taking great photos with our cell phone. This class will go over your phone camera’s basic functions, some simple photography rules to help you see and use light to take better images, and some simple yet very useful editing tools and techniques. Join us in learning how to master your camera. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.fmopa.org/event/master-your-phone-family-edition/
