Our teaching moment from today's event is a reminder the mobility within an event can be the game changer.

Mobile djs achieve that moniker as a reference to their ability to move from event to event, carrying all necessary sound and lighting equipment along the way. Professional practitioners should be set, door to sound, in 20 minutes, full polished setup in 40. The mobility doesn't have to stop there!

The very nature of private events is heavily characterized by their fluidity. Guests move through various spaces of entertainment, photo ops, food and beverage. Most of these locations can be anticipated and sound can be prepared however, on occasion, the dj booth itself has to move.

The cardinal sin for dj's is to repeat songs and equally as offensive is losing power! Moving a dj booth doesn't have to mean you lose the beat. Prepare your booth with battery powered options to ensure that the music continues to play as your booth is reset.
