A few months ago, the Smiths, a family I babysit for, invited me on a vacation to a luxurious resort. They wanted me to look after their 6 kids. I told them I couldn’t afford such a pricey vacation, but Mrs. Smith reassured me everything would be ON THEM.

THE FORMER OWNER OF OUR LAND SNUCK ONTO OUR PROPERTY WITH A SHOVEL, THINKING I WASN'T HOME — I DECIDED TO WATCH FROM AFAR.
My husband and I bought a section of land from our neighbor and built our house there. This woman always seemed a bit off — quiet, like she was hiding something.
I usually work from morning until evening, but I stayed home that day because I wasn't feeling well.
Suddenly, I noticed our neighbor sneaking into my yard (which used to be her property) with a small shovel. She looked around nervously and started digging. I immediately remembered how my dog always seemed obsessed with that spot.

I NOTICED MY NEIGHBOR CAME HOME FOR 15 MINUTES EACH DAY FOR YEARS – I FINALLY DARED TO PEEK INTO THEIR HOME BUT WAS TAKEN ABACK.
I've been living in this home for 10 years and noticed one intriguing thing about our neighbors, Jill and Mike.
Ever since we moved here, I noticed that whatever the weather is, Mike drives back home at 4 p.m. for 15 minutes EACH DAY. On days Jill goes to work, they come home together. They close all the curtains. If it's the weekend, they just close the curtains at the exact time.
Please don't think I'm a stalker. I work from home and my window view is their doorstep.
What do they do?? I mean, each day for years, at the same time?
I've been fighting my curiosity, so finally, I decided to take a closer peek.

GREEDY HEIRS TRIED TO EARN FAVOR WITH GRANDPA TO INHERIT MORE — THEIR JAWS DROPPED WHEN THE LAWYER READ THE WILL.
Mr. Lewis was an elderly man who had spent his life doing good, raising a wonderful family, and adopting or fostering several kids. He had 8 kids in total — 4 biological and 4 adopted.
But his kids rarely visited him, unless it was to ask for money. They were living their best lives off of his bank account.
At 83, Mr. Lewis got the news from his doctors that he had less than a month to live. And guess what? The very same day, all his kids suddenly showed up at his mansion. From that moment on, they never left his side, trying to butter him up and secure a bigger piece of the inheritance.

I was working at a café to save up money for my education when a man around 35 years old came in with two small children. He looked exhausted, with dark circles under his eyes, but what caught my attention was the way he glanced at me—like he was searching for something in my face.
I didn't think much of it until I noticed he ordered food only for himself, not even getting juice for his kids. It felt off, but I stayed quiet.

I VISITED MY HUSBAND'S UNIVERSITY CLASS, BUT WHEN I SAW MY FACE ON HIS LECTURE SLIDE, I KNEW OUR MARRIAGE WAS RUINED.
My husband is a psychology professor at a local university and can be quite forgetful at times. One morning, he accidentally left his lunch at home again, so I decided to be nice and hand-deliver it to his class since I was free that day.
When I arrived at the university and found the right auditorium, his lecture was still going, so I thought it would be fun to listen to a part of it. I sneaked in and sat at the very back. He was talking about some sort of psychological experiment, showing slides of various studies.
Then he said, "To prove the point, I recreated the experiment on my wife..."
My blood froze when I saw my own face show up on the slide with some characteristics written out underneath the photo.
"Our subject, Janet, has an average IQ and the social awareness of a teenage girl. So testing this theory on her was not a hard task. Take a second to look at this video of her, and then we will discuss it."

I (57F) lost my husband of 25 years last year. He had a daughter, Susan (34F).

ENTITLED HOMEOWNERS REFUSED TO PAY MY PLUMBER FATHER FOR HIS WORK – THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE THE SMARTEST, BUT HE HAD THE LAST LAUGH.
My dad's a plumber, and he's the kind of man who takes pride in his work like it's his own home. He's the type who'd redo an entire job if he thought it wasn't perfect.
So, he lands this gig for a complete bathroom remodel. We're talking the works – new tiles, new fixtures, the whole shebang. The homeowners were all smiles at first. They picked out every single detail – the tiles, the grout color, and even the position of the sink and toilet. Dad was there every step of the way, making sure everything was perfect.
Fast forward to the last day of the job. Dad's just finishing up the grouting when the homeowners suddenly flip the script. They start complaining about the tiles, saying it's not what they wanted. Total nonsense, because they literally picked everything out themselves. But here's the kicker – they tell him they're only paying HALF of what they owe him. HALF! After two weeks of busting his hump to get their dream bathroom done.
Dad tries to reason with them, but they're not having it. They smugly tell him to finish up and GET LOST.
My Dad is usually a people-pleaser, but he knew he was being played. So, he agrees to finish the job. But he's got a plan to teach these entitled people a lesson. So, my dad took... ⬇️
