Hey punx! We apologize for earlier this week. We received reports that some of you were having difficulties with sending us text messages at 727-469-7869. We reported the issue to our phone provider, and I'm pleased to say that the problem is fixed!

Because not all votes were received here at the Hillsborough River studios/broken down van, we've decided to replay last week's Trending the Bay countdown and count your votes through Sunday for next week! Remember, too, that we also take voicemail votes... in fact, we give a bonus for voicemail votes that are funny enough to use on air. (It goes without saying that if you vote by voicemail, you give us permission to use your voicemail on air, yadda yadda.)

Also, since it's now the holiday season, we've broken out the Christmas music! Get ready for 24 hours of Mariah Carey... what? Oh, sorry, Mr. and Mrs. Newt have informed me that they have smashed all of our copies of All I Want For Christmas, and that they'll do the same thing with my head if I ever play it. (How they managed to smash an MP3 file, I'll never know...) But seriously, we put our own twist on Christmas music here at the station. You may hear something you've actually never heard before.

So tune in starting at noon (Tampa time) tomorrow, and keep tuning in throughout December.

Achievement unlocked! Thanks to The Altered Egos, my little ol' radio station, SSCR Tampa, got tagged on the radio station I grew up listening to. No, not WMMS... I mean way back in my elementary and middle school days, when I first started listening to rock and punk: The mighty WDVE in Pittsburgh.

Yeah, I know I could have tagged them myself at any point... but it's the little things that amuse and impress me.
