Dawn was breaking over the horizon. A soft light began to spill across the earth; it was a new day. The women approached the tomb with heavy hearts, their souls navigating through the burden and sorrow of the crucifixion. With each step, they carried the weight of their grief, maneuvering through a world that seemed to have lost all hope.
When they arrived at the tomb, the atmosphere felt charged with anticipation, as the entire universe was poised on the edge of a miraculous revelation. As they moved closer to the tomb, the earth began to violently tremble. The stone that had sealed the tomb was rolled away! With racing hearts and trembling hands, they peered inside, only to find the tomb completely empty.
In that very moment, despair transformed into awe. The angelic presence before them radiated a light that pierced through the shadows of their grief, offering a message that would echo throughout the ages: “Jesus is not here; He has risen!” Those words resonated in their hearts, igniting a flame of hope that brightly blazed through the darkness of doubt. The grave could not contain Him. In His glorious resurrection, hope was reborn, and with it, a new chapter of redemption was written for you and for me.
Overwhelmed with joy, the women ran from the tomb, their grief replaced by a renewed sense of purpose. They became the first bearers of the Good News, their voices singing with the truth of the resurrection and a divine declaration that eternal life triumphs over death, and that every broken heart can be redeemed. In those moments, the women transformed from mourners into messengers, embodying the very essence of inspiration that would ripple through generations, reminding the world that even in the face of despair, hope is always reborn. Joy certainly came that morning.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
