“A driver backed into the Lift Coffee Bar in the early morning of Oct. 27, after the 100th NSU Homecoming. Jarrod Railey, Lift general manager, said this occurred around 2 a.m. while the bars were closing. Video surveillance shows two people heading into the Lift parking lot and climbing into their truck off-camera. As the truck backed up, the video shows the driver slamming into a parked car near the building and into the kitchen of the shop. The building where Lift Coffee Bar is housed is currently owned by the university and NSU Facilities responded quickly to the damages.”
