In part 2 of this episode of Navigating Christian Womanhood titled, "Adults Navigating Parental Relationships", Sonya continues her conversation over Zoom with Tony & Robin Galieti on how children should properly navigate their relationship with their parents as grown adults while still honoring them, as we are commanded to do so in Scripture (Commandment #5; Exodus 20:12, Deuteronomy 5:16). They talk about whether or not your adult child is oversharing or undersharing, how to ask them "curiosity questions", and how to feel confident in your child's trajectory into adulthood.

Garrett was a team captain for @cusefootball the last two seasons he played, being added to the Davey O'Brien Award & the Maxwell Award watchlists. He finished his 3-year career at Syracuse University with 70 TDs (39 passing, 31 rushing). He also got baptized at his local church here in Syracuse last year. This year, we at Mars Hill Network have a fabulous opportunity to partner with our longtime friends in ministry Joni and Friends for a wonderful campaign they have going on. In this episode of Faith Feature, Teddy got to learn about their “Wheels for the World” campaign when speaking with Joni Eareckson Tada, the CEO & founder of the Joni & Friends ministry. Joni shares her story about how she became quadriplegic (paralyzed from the shoulders down) & how despite that heavy burden on her life, how God has used her condition & her strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to reach the disabled community, a community that’s often overlooked, all around the world. Part of their ministry effort is the Wheels for the World outreach, so Joni shares the details of this outreach & how the organization makes a worldwide impact for those in the disabled community through this outreach.

In part 1 of this episode of Navigating Christian Womanhood titled, "Adults Navigating Parental Relationships", Sonya has a conversation over Zoom with Tony & Robin Galieti, a Christian couple who've been married for 40 years & have served in ministry focused on marriage & young adults for over 20 years. Their conversation consists of how children should properly navigate their relationship with their parents as grown adults while still honoring them, as we are commanded to do so in Scripture (Commandment #5; Exodus 20:12, Deuteronomy 5:16). They go through different scenarios as to how to navigate those relationships, even when parents can make it difficult, even reflecting on some of their own experience to help offer insight into the topic.
