"We gave him the green light.” Billy Dwan III put together one of Syracuse’s greatest two-way seasons of all-time in 2024. Despite being a close defender, Dwan has always had an innate ability to create offense.

As a close defender, Billy Dwan III’s top skill is his scoring. His eight-goal 2024 season put him among SU’s greatest two-way threats.

Our columnist says it was a falloff that wasn’t unexpected. SU flustered in the transfer portal and failed to adequately rebuild its NCAA Tournament roster.

“Plant Blindness” refers to the human tendency to take the natural world around us for granted. “The Earth Laughs in Flowers,” a new Syracuse Art Museum exhibit, aims to pull people back into nature.

In art grapes often serve as a symbol for a woman’s prime. The sculpture “Sweet Grapes” is the focal point of “The Earth Laughs in Flowers,” a new exhibit at the Syracuse Art Museum representing Ralph Waldo Emerson's poetry.
