onsist of my exquisite Wheatstone SP5A console, which features amazing transformer based microphone preamps with 3 band EQ. As well I utilize a diverse collection of classic and custom dynamic processors to shape and mold your performance. We commit to making your records sound their best as they happen. Here at Narrative Audio Services I hope that you will find my demeanor friendly and relaxing. My aim is to make your experience as fulfilling as possible and to offer a musician and producer the sonic result of an expensive studio but at an affordable rate. Band Demo $200 (4-6 songs with a rough mix)
I record your band in our 984 sq ft live room, your instruments are patched into my SP5A console and printed with compression and EQ to get a full sounding result. I quickly mix your records once we are done tracking and print to Zulu (tape). Full EP (7 songs maximum) with full mix and master $750
I consult with your band, give you some producer advice and support, spend more time mixing your record and offer more opportunities to build and refine your album into a much more finished product. Analog Mastering $25 per song. (Analog signal chain, including Zulu)
I take your mix (does not need to be done here) and pass it through my analog gear (I have several compressors, EQs, my console transformer stages and of course Zulu!) and sweeten your finished mix into a mastered record. High quality digital limiting is employed to give you loud but not distorted audio. Analog equipment is excellent at doing what I call heavy lifting, by not relying on the digital plugins to handle the heavy lifting you get much more musical and competitive masters.
