i never knew this little factoid about Steve goodman! with a cape cod vaca coming up i will be checking it out

🚂 Fun Fact: Our Cape Codder Club Car is a vintage 1917 lounge car that once ran on the Illinois Central. Steve Goodman’s song “The City of New Orleans”, which was also sung by Arlo Guthrie, refers to playing penny poker in the club car…in THIS club car!

Today our mechanical team shined her up beautifully for Saturday’s first Cape Cod Dinner Train of the season. The Cape Codder offers exclusive “Platinum Class” on the dinner train. 🚂
