“Tiny world” was written about my experiences longing for a simple life—one with a roof over my head, food to eat, love, warmth and company.

A life which I, at one point in time, traded in for vagrancy, drunkeness and the illusion of freedom as I set out to roam the streets and live selfishly throughout various tourist cities along the eastern seaboard.

After running away from my fears for a while and in the midst of it, I began overwhelmed with guilt and filled with shame at what I had given up. The world is a huge place when you’re lost in the unfamiliar streets filled with strangers. I had wished I could go back, I had longed for my “Tiny world” even if it wasn’t perfect, it was familiar.
