Palma in Mallorca is an island favorite, with 300 days of sun a year, historic architecture in the Old Town, and a Golden Mile of dining.

Valldemossa is a historic village in Tramuntana Mountains only 15 minutes from Palma, making it a perfect day trip.

Port d’Andratx is great for marine lovers, with a gorgeous harbor and yachts everywhere that will feel like Monaco.

Ibiza is not only a hub for vibrant nightlife, but Ibiza Town itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And yes, it’s true the clubs don’t open till midnight, but I was happy to check that experience off my bucket list with my kids.

Barcelona, the capital of Catalan, is absolutely iconic. Musts include Las Ramblas, the lively and most famous boulevard in the city, the Gothic Quarter for architecture and shopping, and Antoni Gaudí’s architecture, including the Sagrada Familia. Sagrada Familia truly took my breath away. And I highly recommend a private food and wine walking tour; it really allowed us to immerse in the city and culture.

Madrid is the capital of Spain with a beautiful colonial charm. Don’t miss the Prado Museum.

The H and M Families are off to Walt Disney World to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday together!
