Last craft to decorate our Dad's front door. I got inspiration for this from Creating Through Chaos, thank you Janice! Wood hearts and base from the Dollar Tree, Love, glass bottle, flowers, & scrapbook paper from Hobby Lobby. First, I painted the hearts with Sheepskin chalk paint by FolkArt (front & back of large heart)and the Love and small heart with Vintage Victorian pink chalk paint (just the front of small heart). Then I Mod Podged the scrapbook paper to the front of both hearts. I then went around the edges of both hearts and the Love with Antique Wax by FolkArt, I also stained the wood base with the same Antique Wax. When all was dry, I glued the small heart to the middle of the larger heart with Gorilla Super Glue. I took some jute and a small rose gold key (from Totally Dazzled), I wrapped the jute around both hearts a couple of times, added the key to the middle, tying a knot and securing the ends of the just on the back with hot glue. I also placed a small dot of hot glue to the key to keep it in place. I attached the hearts to the base on an angle with Gorilla Super Glue and the Love to the front of the base making sure it wasn't too far down and would still stand up. Last, I glued the little jar to the base to the left of the heart and behind the "L", wrapped jute around the top of the vase (jar) tying a little bow, added the paper flowers and that's it! I really do love this one, it came together so easily with all the pinks matching! The paper on the little heart has rose metallic spots that matches the key. So pretty I love love love it. Can't wait to put these up at our Dad's place and see his reaction!

Another Valentine Craft for our Dad's door....Another super cute easy peasy one! Wood heart, pink, white, & black beads from the Dollar Tree, pink metallic ribbon & scrapbook paper from Hobby Lobby, white lace is from my Mom's lace stash. I painted the front & back of the heart with Vintage Victorian pink FolkArt chalk paint. Then I Mod Podged the pink/white checked scrapbook paper to lower portion of the heart on an angle. When that was dry, I traced the Hello Valentine onto the heart using carbon paper. I took a black Pasca marker and went over the carbon lines on the heart. I used black gems from Totally Dazzled to add a little sparkle to the black letters. You can't really see them in the picture, but in person it sparkles! I then hot glued the pink metallic ribbon above and below the words and the white lace above that. I got pre-painted wood beads in white, pink & black from the Dollar Tree that matched perfectly. I took a length of pink metallic ribbon, added beads to both ends, tying knots at each end to hold beads on. I then hot glued the ribbon the the back of the heart so that they would hang down. I added a jute hanger and that was it for this one. I love this super cute door hanger and think Dad will too!

This cute flower box was so fun to create! Wood crate, hearts, white heart ribbon, red & pink glitter hearts, & the BeMine all from the Dollar Tree. I made the red w/white polka dots and the solid pink w/red middle from hearts and a half bead. I first painted the hearts & half beads red and pink then added white polka dots (front & back), then I cut out a cardboard circle the same size as the half beads & painted those red & pink also. The bigger flowers are made from tear drop shapes I had in my stash, I think they were from Michaels a couple of years ago. For the tear drops, I mod podged scrap book paper to the front and back of each piece, painted half beads with white and pink chalk paint. I also cut circles from cardboard the same size as these half beads and painted them. I took the 4 skewers and stained them dark green. I used hot glue to attached each "petal" to the cardboard circle, then used Gorilla Super Glue to attach the half bead on the front and the "stem". I repeated the process with the tear drop petals. I stained the crate with Burnt Umber Folk Art paint, added the heart ribbon along the top edge and the BeMine to the front with hot glue. I had painted the BeMine with Crimson red chalk paint. I hot glued floral foam to the bottom of the crate, added spanish moss to the top, hot glueing it as needed. I cut the flower stems to different lengths and and pushed them into the floral foam. I did the same with the 2 pink glittered hearts, the red glittered heart, I cut the stem off and hot glued it to the spanish moss. This did take some time, but I had a lot of fun making it and I just love how it turned out!

This is another super easy one for our Dad's door. I started out with a chalk board from Dollar Tree, painted the inside on both the front and back with white chalk paint in Adirondack from Folk Art, the outside frame and base with Chrimson red chalk paint, also from Folk Art. The hearts I got from JoAnns, they're thicker than the ones from Dollar Tree, painted the hearts in red, dark and light pink, and one gold, glued those on to the board. Then I added a tiny pink bow I had in my stash, and a glitter LOVE sticker from Dollar Tree and that's it. The flowers came from Hobby Lobby and had the sheer red ribbon already attached. I just added the red heart cutout ribbon under it, folded the burlap down added a dab of hot glue to hold it and it was done. Super cute and so simple!

Hey there crafty friends! Kelly here, sister #3 in sunny northern California. I've been crafting some items to decorate our Dad's front door. Here's the first one, just a simple red heart with a bow. I got a heart wreath from Dollar Tree that already had this tinsely stuff on it. I simply wrapped some red glittery ribbon (purchased at Big Lots Christmas 2023) around the tinsel, I wanted it to look kind of fluffy, then added a bow using ribbon from the Dollar Tree. That's it for this cute shelf leaner!

I’ve had these two metal pumpkins for years. I stopped putting them on my porch a few years ago because I thought they were drab. So I decided to take them up a few notches! I was going to put them out front but I’m not sure now.

I live in Washington state or the PNW. This is my take on the iconic
sticker. The arrows are metal, I found them at Goodwill! Googled the background buts it’s in WA and the rest of the supplies are from HL.

Revamped one of the solar flowers we have in our backyard. I didn’t like the pink anymore so I added my own flare to it! One down, three more to go!
