Listen to the Eagle

Listen to the Eagle Listen to the Eagle is a tribute page in honor of Paul Ott Carruth, a great man of God who loved his Lord, his family and his country.

Listen to the Eagle serves as the voice of thousands of Mississippi outdoorsmen on issues that affect recreational activities such as boating, fishing, hunting and trapping. With Paul Ott as host along with his son Bert, a lively discussion often includes guest host Woodie Cain and invited guests from the MDWFP. Production of the television show and other public spots is provided by Chris and Christy Whittington of Concrete Video Productions.

"For after all it is only just for God to repay with distress those who distress you, and to give relief to you who are so distressed and to us as well when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in a flame of fire, dealing out [full and complete] vengeance to those who do not [seek to] know God and to those who ignore and refuse to obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus [by choosing not to respond to Him]. O Lord, open my lips,
That my mouth may declare Your praise.

For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering.

My [only] sacrifice [acceptable] to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart [broken with sorrow for sin, thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.
Psalm 51:15-17
