I also wanted to encourage everyone to check out Best Friends FurEver with Kel Mitchell, a very enjoyable show about dogs and other animal species who become best friends. The series airs Saturdays at 11:30 (or other times in some markets—check your local listings) nationally on CBS. Oh, and I am proud to serve as the editor for this series. Enjoy!

I meant to post this last week (before the season 2 premiere), but please tune in for Hope in the Wild this season on CBS Saturdays (or Sundays—check your local listings). If you love cute little critters, this series follows Hope Swinimer and her team, who are dedicated to rehabilitating injured and orphaned animals and returning them to the wild. Oh, and I am proud to serve as the editor.

One week from today (11/25), Writ on Water will be releasing our third full-length album, 'The Greyest Day,' which will be available from iTunes, Bandcamp, Amazon and other outlets. We have been working on these recordings for the past 5 years, and this collection of songs is being released literally 20 years after originally intended.

On a different note, tune in Saturday mornings to 'The Dog Whisperer Family Edition with Cesar Millan' (7 and 7:30am on The CW), 'Outback Adventures with Tim Faulkner' (11am, ABC) and, of course, 'Born to Explore with Richard Wiese' (11:30am, ABC) to see some of my editing and post-production work.

Several years ago while dog sledding in Wasilla Alaska this frisky sled dog gave me a big wet kiss. I have to admit I feel a bit ashamed I don't even remember her name:)

This Saturday on Born to Explore with Richard Wiese we examine the special relationship humans have with dogs.
