Congrats to local girls 🏀 players Alex McKinley and Brynna Collins of Knox Knox, Jacie Wilson of Sullivan and North Central’s Jalyn Davidson for being selected to the Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association All-District Team for District 1.
Not sure how North Central’s Shelby Seay gets left off this list 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ but congrats to these four ballers!

Congrats to the Carlisle 5th grade girls basketball team for winning the Tri-County Tournament at North Central
The Lady Indians picked up a 25-19 win over North Central and a 27-16 win over White River Valley.
Members of the team include: Maggie McKinley, Piper Unger, Carolynn Hayes, Jayleigh Bond, Ally Bedwell, Addy Bedwell, Jaci Graham, Kinlee Baker, Judy Queen and Carleigh Freels.
The Lady Indians are coached by Annie McCammon and Jessica Springer.

Class 1A Clay City Sectional championship game will be No. 13 White River Valley (18-5) vs. No. 3 North Central (22-3)

Class 2A North Knox Sectional championship game will be No. 1 South Knox (23-2) vs. No. 8 North Knox (17-6)

Congrats to Dugger Union, Shakamaka and Sullivan for all winning first-round sectional games and making it to the semifinals Friday night!

Prayers to this young lady!
It won’t be confirmed for a few days most likely, but Miss Stone left tonight’s game against North Central with what appears to be the dreaded ACL injury.
I’ve known this young lady and her family for close to 15 years and she’s the ultimate competitor.
Thoughts and prayers for a speedy and healthy recovery can’t wait to see her lace them up at SMWC!

You can’t tell from the non reaction, but I promise you this was a record-breaking point. This free throw was the 25th point of the night for North Central senior Jalyn Davidson. It was also her 1,857th of her career which broke the all-time Ladybird scoring record which was previously held by older sister Averi.
It’s also the all-time scoring record in Sullivan County!
