Battling Kudzu, the vine that ate the south. How many of you have this wildly invasive vine from Asia taking over your town or backyard?

Had a huge wake up call this morning while doing morning chores...we tag teamed a copper head and sent her to where ever dead snakes go...my heart is still racing.

Mr. Shuffles is a proud Roo...Momma chicken hatched her first chick. She has 10 eggs under her. Praying more hatch and we can grow our flock! And...two weeks until we see if the bunnies will be parents. Roses blooming, babies being born...life on a farm is wonderful!

New Year, New Plans and New Growth! We will be uploading videos again!

We will share more of our day to day life, animals, gardening and progress on the property. We plan on having a few discussions about how we are transitioning from "city folks" to this new lifestyle of self sufficiency, self reliance and preparedness.
