MY Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge Patch has arrived!

This has been a week filled with a mix of pride and humility as many of us have received our class of 2024 Hoka Hey patch. A patch is issued to those who cross the finish line who follow the rules and guidelines of the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge. Congrats on your Integrity, Compassion, Honesty and Respect my challenge riding friends who have received their finisher patches. What a long strange trip it's been.

I'm grateful for all the greatness we had to celebrate at this year's Board of Directors party! We did it! Thank you to everyone who helped feed hungry children. What a YEAR!!!!

BOARD OF DIRECTORS CELEBRATE A SUCCESSFUL YEAR

The Kickin' Childhood Hunger Board of Directors enjoy gathering every year for a celebration of the year's accomplishments and the Christmas holiday. Our organization has been very blessed this year raising enough funds for over 20,000 weekend food sacks for children.

We will continue to raise funds until no child goes hungry in our local area. Our work is cut out for us, but with your help and generous donations this labor of love is much easier.

Please message us if you'd like to contribute an end of year contribution. We are currently funding Christmas Break food sack requests for local schools' children.

HOKA HEY COIN

I have carried this challenge coin with me since August 2. That's the day that I checked in to the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge 2024 in Daytona FL. I'll never forget the director Beth, reaching to shake my hand when I was all done with the check-in process. I didn't expect this clingy personalized golden prize that she left behind in my palm. Each rider receives the coin with their ride number engraved in it. Each challenge coin is also engraved with the theme of the year we ride. This "Chikinik Ghalli" means thank you. I can't be more thankful for this experience and having this coin with me at all times reminding me of the sacrifices we riders made in our difficult ride challenge.

I enjoyed being able to share the power of the test of Honor, Respect, Inspire, Perseverance and Compassion that make up the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge. I've said over and over that my ride and fundraising was a Spiritual experience for me. Sharing the story is a Blessing. Central Oklahoma Adult and Teen Challenge is a very special place of healing from addiction through Faith in God. I was honored to be their speaker this evening. Miles liked the attention!

Thank you to Stillwater Golden Kiwanis Club for this generous donations to Kickin' Childhood Hunger. I also picked up some personal donations from them as well after presenting a slide presentation about the fundraising and Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge ride I successfully completed.

Let me know if you have a group or organization in which you'd like me to show our presentation. Our kids continue to need weekend food sacks! I won't stop til the last one is fed.
