This week’s 106.3 The River’s Dee Jay’s BBQ Ribs & Grille High School Athlete of the Week is Edison wrestler Cole Pittman! Cole earned two first period pins and a technical fall on his way to win the 165 pound championship at the Shadyside Last Man Standing Tournament. Cole was also named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Wrestler. Cole receives a Dee Jay’s gift card and a plaque from Tri-Area Trophies in Weirton. Congratulations to Cole Pittman from 106.3 The River!

Trinity Health System welcomed our New Years baby on January 1 at 10:30 am. Congratulations to Amanda Parks and Aaron Reed on their 5th boy! Baby Aceson Reed was 7lbs 8 oz.

Alaina helped lead the Brooke High School cheering team to the West Virginia Triple-A State Title. Alaina receives a Dee Jay’s gift card and a plaque from Tri-Area Trophies in Weirton. During a win over Valley Koleton scored 32 points, including six 3s. Koleton receives a Dee Jay’s gift card and a plaque from Tri-Area Trophies in Weirton.
