Utilizing the slogan "Logan County's Community Newspaper," the South Platte Sentinel is the only paper in Sterling which promotes events, news and advertising coverage concerning STRICTLY Logan County people and places. As active community supporters, the South Platte Sentinel utilizes the philosophy that public service work can create more good will than a dozen house advertisements can. Although its free circulation is a major selling point, readership is not guaranteed by distribution.
