Annual Enrollment Period begins October 15th 2024.

Please be careful of any letters or phone calls you may receive as annual Medicare enrollment and open enrollment draw nearer!

My other half received 5 calls in a matter of an hour yesterday with agents trying to chance his plan from a call center Miami and a number beginning with 817. When I called them back to question it I was hung up on every time and now blocked!

So what did I do to stop those calls?

I called numbers back and asked who I was speaking to, what was the company name and what was the person's NPI (national producer identification number) as any legit health agent has one! Every single one of them refused to give me information and when I reminded them he is on the DNC (do not call list) and that any list they bought for leads must be scrubbed thru there or otherwise they are reportable.... boom, click if it hadn't happened as soon as I asked for their NPI #.

WE GET BOMBARDED with calls just as you do, learn to protect yourself. NEVER ANSWER ANY QUESTION with YES. They have it recorded and will use it as your consent to Jack with your plan!

We've had agents steal clients by cutting their incomes and screwing up their subsidies, they promise a zero monthly premium plan but at what cost? (One client was a change in half their income giving them a $2k a month penalty had we not caught it quickly) We monitor accounts best we can to prevent these things!

Watch for fraud letters or TV promises of discount cards, additional benefits etc.

Kannonball Insurance Solutions LLC knows what plans offer and if it's something we don't we will damn sure look into it for you before you get swindled in something that sounded good but then come to find out it doesn't cover your doctors or some of your meds, all for what, a $200 grocery card?

Most of all remember ask these people calling for the 4 pieces of info! Name, company, NPI number and even a call back number!

Did you know that if you change zip codes your health coverage and premium could change too? It's important to report these changes and have your plan re-evaluated.

It also goes for it you have any type of income change, whether it's a raise, you sold a piece of property or changed jobs. Not reporting these things can drastically affect you at tax time!

Have you gotten married, divorced or had a baby? A change in household size affects your marketplace coverage and needs to b3 reported.

A local favorite charity, Mornin Star Ranch, teamed up with a local nursery Texas Sage Nursery, for a meet and greet the children & horses of Mornin Stars community outreach. A percentage of the sales will be given to Ranch for their equestrian program. Summer is approaching fast and with that said they do have available spots for their summer camps! Each session last a week and includes equestrian, crafts, and a lot more activities! Reach out to Mornin Star Ranch to get the details!

With over 1000 flowers and the full team at Kannonball Insurance Solutions on deck, 550 bouquets were delivered to a local elementary school for the children to pick out and take home to their mother's for Mothers Day....
