What a unique and memorable evening at the "Glitzing up the Ritz" fundraiser in Snyder, TX with friends!
It was an incredible night filled with laughter and camaraderie as Barry Corbin told us stories from his illustrious career. He was joined by fellow West Texans and actors Brad Leland, known for his role in Friday Night Lights, and Barry Tubb, famous for his performances in Lonesome Dove and Top Gun. Seeing these talented individuals come together to support a great cause was truly inspiring. Here's to many more nights like this! 🥂

💚🐚💚 The historic coast of Texas is extra unique...Discover the captivating story of the Gresham mansion in Galveston, TX!

✨️Constructed entirely of stone between 1887 and 1892 by renowned architect Nicholas J. Clayton, this sturdy structure weathered the devastating 1900 hurricane, providing refuge for hundreds of survivors.
✨️Originally home to lawyer and politician Walter Gresham, his wife Josephine, and their large family, the mansion later served as the residence for Bishop Christopher E. Byrne of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Galveston.
✨️In 1923, the Diocese purchased the mansion, situating it across from the Sacred Heart Church.
✨️Eventually, it opened its doors to the public in 1963, with tour proceeds supporting the UT medical school's Newman Center housed in the basement.
✨️With an estimated cost of $250,000 in its heyday, today, the mansion's value surpasses $5.5 million.
✨️Now under the ownership of the Galveston Historical Foundation, the mansion offers daily self-guided tours. By exploring this architectural gem, you not only delve into history but also contribute to its preservation and restoration efforts!

3/26 - Hat Day for Jayden across multiple campuses raised over $700
March Live Like Jayden Shirt Fundraiser $5,528
Doug Young donated the remainder of his campaign funds and we had several private donations. We are so inspired by the generosity of this community we are going to add more scholarships to this years distribution. We are busy reviewing the applications and with so many deserving applicants we are so glad to be able to add another $6,000 to our 2024 distribution. In the next few weeks we will be announcing our scholarship recipients and are so proud to say we can award $16,000 in our first year Thanks to all of our wonderful supporters!💙💛💙💛
