IT'S FESTIVAL DAY!!! 🌽
Today is the opening day for the 2024 Stanton Corn Festival! Tonight the festival opens at 6:00 PM with the Stanton's Got Talent- Talent Show followed by Family Movie Night!
**Festival is RAIN or SHINE! The show must go on but if changes have to be made to the schedule of events announcements will be posted on our page.
Our committee has been working very diligently behind the scenes and we are prepping for a great festival! See you soon!

It’s that time once again! Time to hunt for the Banjo! It has been hidden somewhere in Leslie County and whoever finds it and brings him to Joel at the bank will win $500 cash and 4 passes to the Bluegrass festival.
Before we get the hunt started, let’s review the rules.
1. The banjo is hidden on PUBLIC PROPERTY somewhere in Leslie County. Please respect everyone’s private property and stay off of their land. You will not need to enter anyone’s property to find the banjo.
2. The banjo might be buried, camouflaged, tapped or otherwise hidden. But you will not need to damage, destroy, or otherwise deface any property to find it. In other words, you won’t have to break open a pot or jar to find it.
3. Clues will be vague. They come from Bluegrass song lyrics, so some keyword or phrase in there is what you should try to use to find the banjo. Don’t ask for additional assistance. If more information is deemed necessary, a public post will be made, but no private messages will be answered.
4. The banjo IS NOT IN A CEMETERY!!
5. Immediate Family Members of Bank employees are not eligible to win.

Crowefest at Meadowgreen Appalachian Music Park this weekend was WONDERFUL! Personally, the highlight was meeting Daniel Grindstaff Music face to face! He was the first to send me a cd and it just holds a special place in my PickMeUp Gospel memories. Can't wait for that next album! (Here is he joining in on the banjo.)
