Saint Louis Art Museum is adding stand-up comedy to Free Fridays! We’re excited to announce Gallery Laughs, a one of a kind, four-part stand-up comedy series produced by Mid Coast Media - featuring nationally touring comedians Mia Jackson, Jonathan Kite, Ian Edwards and Kym Whitley - supported by some of St. Louis’ favorite local performers.

🎤 Feb 21 - Mia Jackson feat. Will O'Donnell
🎤 May 30 - Jonathan Kite feat. Larry Greene
🎤 Aug 15 - Ian Edwards feat. Mychael Anthony
🎤 Nov 14 - Kym Whitley feat. Frank Lyles

All shows exec produced and hosted by Chris Denman

5:00pm: DJ and cocktail hour
6:30pm: comedy show (free)
Seating is first come first served and space is limited.

The laughs will be accompanied by custom art designed by St. Louis’s own Cbabi Bayoc. Special portraits inspired by the headlining comedians will be displayed at each show, with a select number of prints available for lucky attendees to take home.

The unveiling 🥁🎨 … we’re excited to share Cbabi Bayoc Originals’ custom portrait of Mia Jackson ahead of her Gallery Laughs show at Saint Louis Art Museum on Feb 21. Stand-up comedy - produced by Mid Coast Media - is now part of SLAM’s Free Fridays! See the portrait in-person next week. A few lucky attendees will go home with a print.

Saint Louis Art Museum is adding stand-up comedy to Free Fridays! Gallery Laughs, produced by Mid Coast Media, kicks off on Feb 21 with Mia Jackson. She started her stand-up career in Atlanta. Now living in New York, Jackson performs regularly around the city when not on the road. In 2022, she opened for Amy Schumer’s national comedy tour. Jackson has written for Life & Beth (Hulu) and I Love Us (BET+). She has two half hour Comedy Central specials, and her stand up has been featured on This Week at The Comedy Cellar.
