Our kids have always been there right beside us as we went, starting with đź’ś
I was a single mom so Tiana was my little sidekick through my aerobics studio, hair shows, fashions shows at the mall and adventures around the Midwest, NY and London. They were all a part of her childhood.
Truth be told, the way this all began is when she was a little girl I took her to get a haircut from my friend, and a New York photographer scouted her who happened to be in Iowa at the time. That led to learning there was this whole big giant international world of modeling.
Tiana has always lit up the room and as a girl loved theatre and dance which led to her ultimately touring the world as a professional dancer and dancing on music videos, award shows, the Olympics and more for 10 years of her life.
Always one to look at new creative endeavors, she has kept growing into work both on camera and off, finding her voice as a creative director and now, as an entrepreneur.
In the past few months she has worked on both Project Runway and VOGUE WORLD and as her parents, it brings us an extra little bit of joy seeing her do her thing in the fashion space.
