My name is Courtney M. Hoffman II, and I am running to serve on City Council for East St. Louis.

I approach everything in life with hard work, ingenuity, and faith. With deep roots in East St. Louis, I have followed my family’s example by contributing my skills in hospitality and entrepreneurialism to my community by battling poverty, supporting minority business owners, and promoting social justice.

I came from humble beginnings, starting my career in the hospitality business and working in my father’s restaurant, nightclub, and other establishments. With an insatiable drive and excellent work ethic, I followed my interest in entrepreneurialism to the real estate industry and became the youngest real estate broker in Missouri at just seventeen years old. By the time I turned nineteen, I owned my first business and eventually earned my first million dollars by the age of twenty-one.

Throughout my career, I have developed skills as a professional stock trader and have successfully traded over 300 million dollars on the US stock exchange.

In Illinois, Missouri, and Georgia, I have earned my General Appraisers License, Real Estate Broker license, Mortgage Broker license, Insurance license, Insurance Public Claims Adjuster license, and Consumer Loan Lender license.

In 2017, I became the founder and CEO of Hoffman Feingold, LCC, and started leading a team responsible for commercial and residential sales, appraisals, mortgages, claims and investments. Through the success of my business, I earned the Game Changer award from the NAACP in 2021.

Throughout my career, I have taken pride in my community by contributing my skills and resources to eight different businesses as well as the development of Vantage Credit Union, Southend Housing, ABC Auto Auction, and Emerson Park Housing, all within the East St. Louis area. Driven by my love for my city and community, I enjoy offering my knowledge and expertise to those seeking to achieve financial success and love to watch clients’ dreams materialize.

Whether I am appraising a property, helping a client buy their first home, or contributing to my community, I do it all with the firm conviction that hard work and excellence lead to success for not only me but my community as well.
