It is a 3 mile in and back trail to the falls. The trail is rugged in places and takes about 45-60 minutes to get to the falls. We stopped a few times to appreciate the scenery and take a few videos.
This is Missouri's highest waterfall and is near the official survey marker for the highest point in the State. {Some parts|Parts| of the hike are not well marked, some are very rocky. We went in the after a Spring rain and parts of the trail were squishy and covered. Very interesting rock formations. The whole hike took us 3+ hours, be sure to bring water. Excellent hike, definitely worth the trip.
