Starting your own business is hard. Opening a brick and mortar business is harder. When we heard there was a record store going in to Frenchtown we were pretty excited. We like records. We buy records. We listen to records but the records weren’t what got us hyped. It was the idea that our beloved Frenchtown was expanding. Yet another small business saw the value in 2nd Street and wanted to spend their blood, sweat, tears and money to do something neat there.
We wanted to help so we contacted Kyle of @dirtyriverrecordsstl and asked if we could film his story. He said “yep” and the rest is history.
We hope you’ll frequent @dirtyriverrecordsstl. They have a great selection of vinyl and some pretty rad pinball machines.

Mead Hall Opens Saturday
This Saturday something special will happen in St. Charles. @meadhall will open its doors in its new location. @jtmoler had the pleasure of designing and painting the show piece for the #meadery. It’s a character he knows all too well because he’s been drawing him for Mead Hall bottles for years now.
If you like a good time, delicious beverages and a warm and friendly staff then you need to be at Mead Hall this Saturday for the grandiose opening.

Tomorrow our co founder @dustinbryson is heading to the #Chicago area to photograph and film one of the raddest clients we have, @wisconsinvintagefest.
When filming a project we always come prepared. Why all the film gear you ask? Well, it’s a #vintage fest so, we’re going vintage with some of the gear.
If you’re at the @illinoisvintagefest come say hello!

Ours does and has for a long time. That's pretty embarrassing for a visual marketing company. We found we had analysis paralysis. If the content (graphics, photos, video) isn't dang near perfect we wouldn't post it.
We weren't spending time trying to allow our clients and friends behind the curtain to get to know the real us. Instead, we were putting another coat of shine on our posts.
The truth is, people buy into people. If you have a good product or service you will get sales but where those sales scale is when people also buy into you.
We recommend you start telling stories about your brand. Who's making the product or performing the service? What interesting backgrounds do your employees have? Why did you launch the business in the first place? These are just some sample questions you can begin answering via video to let your customers behind the curtain too.
