WSPQ from Wikipedia......
WSPQ was founded in 1986 by G. Robert Weigand as WFWC, but changed call signs shortly thereafter. WSPQ was the first station in Springville and filled a notable gap between the stations in Dunkirk, Olean and Buffalo. The station's antenna is pointed northward to give maximum coverage to the southern Buffalo suburbs (collectively, the "Southtowns.")
WSPQ is branded as "Classic Hits 1330" and features the best music from the 60's, 70's and the 80's along with local news, high school sports, Buffalo Bills Football, NASCAR and up to date weather. WSPQ is the only radio station lisenced to broadcast in the Southtowns of Western New York.
WSPQ airs a mix of music from the 60's the 70's and the 80's, along with special features such as The Country Classics Show, Breakfast with the Beatles and The Sunday Night Sock Hop. In 2007, with the transfer of ownership from Hawk Communications to Biscuit Communications, all talk programming was dropped and the station became a full-time classic hits outlet, taking listener requests during "The Emerling Family of Dealerships Drive at Five"drive time and all day on Fridays Free For All Fridays.
