Wet Nose Wednesday: Sasha
LOOKING FOR A NEW BEST FRIEND? PLEASE COME TO SANGAMON COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL AND ADOPTION CENTER. ADOPTION FEES FOR ALL CATS AND DOGS HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO $25.00 UNTIL THE END OF SEPTEMBER!
Sasha is our Wet Nose Wednesday star of the week. This sweet girl came in as a stray in March and she has been waiting since then to meet her new family. Sasha is a chubby little land hippo who is easy to walk on a leash. She likes to just kind of mosey along on her walks and then stop to wiggle in the grass. We estimate Sasha is around nine years old. It’s sad to see older dogs living in a kennel when what they really need is a soft place to land in a loving home.
Are you willing to give a calm, easy going older
girl a chance at a new life? Please come on out to SCACAC to meet Sasha Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.

Wet Nose Wednesday: Morgan
EXCITING NEWS! ADOPTION FEES ON ALL DOGS AND CATS AT SANGAMON COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL AND ADOPTION CENTER HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO $25.00 UNTIL THE END OF SEPTEMBER!
Meet Morgan our Wet Nose Wednesday star!
Morgan is a beautiful and sweet natured two year old girl who came to SCACAC as a stray on July 23rd. She is friendly to everyone she meets and is easy to walk on a leash. This girl is a joy to hang out with in the sunshine. Morgan came to the shelter very thin and she still needs to gain weight. The stress of living in a kennel is wearing on her. She needs a good, loving home where she can decompress and bloom into a wonderful best friend.
Morgan and all of the other great adoptable pets at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are waiting to meet you! Please come on out Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9-1:00.

Wet Nose Wednesday: Sneezy
Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week is Sneezy, a two year old Shetland Sheepdog mix who was brought to SCACAC on July 12th as a confiscation. You won’t find a more fun dog than Sneezy.
This boy loves action. He loves running and playing ball even more than taking walks. Because of his breed he’s super smart and has a high energy level. His beautiful coat will also need to be brushed and maintained. Sneezy will do best in a home with a big fenced yard to run in and a family who will give him lots of time, mental stimulation, play time and grooming. That is a big commitment but this smart and fun boy will be worth the effort.
The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are still full! Please come on out and meet Sneezy and all of the other great adoptable dogs Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-12:45.
