Animation requires collaboration. 🤝

In this behind-the-scenes, we explored a 'hero' grant application page that would help emphasize the grant-writing challenges within public school systems.

This 2D animated page served multiple purposes:
Establishing a simplified grant writing process, from 50 pages down to just a few key pages.
Setting the tone for the swiftness and ease of a new submission process.
Transitioning from our current scene to a brand new one.

It was fun to layer this into the final result, and show how one aspect of animation can create new impact in a complex scene.

What can you advocate for?

For the first time, the Open Pixel team spent time at Capitol Hill. Along with members from the Society For Public Health Education, we met with local representatives to advocate for public health funding and inclusive voting rights.

We were able to share our local stories from the city of Springfield and how animation has helped to move policy forward. To Kathryn and Will, it was a memorable experience that is furthering their commitment to partnering with organizations that continue to make positive impacts in their communities.

Your collaborations can make real change! 💜

In partnership with the Public Health Institute of Western Mass, we created a video to help communicate the impact of switching to clean energy for the city of Springfield, MA.

The animated video was a welcomed supplement to the additional materials presented to the city council. As a result of those collective efforts, the city council unanimously voted to approve the motion!

When you bring together community organizers, coalition builders, and a touch of artistic creatives, you can create impact in your towns and cities across the country.

We've been quiet lately, but we're back! The team took a much-needed break to sunny Colorado, to vacation and experience a unique conference.

Camp MoGraph featured unparalleled networking and bonding with a like-minded community.

Kathryn and Will met so many talented freelancers, artists, producers, owners, etc who all share a passion for animation and the wilderness. What could be better?

We'll share our findings more throughout the month, but thanks to the whole Camp MoGraph team for an unforgettable adventure!
