Picked up a "new to me" Veritas 2.0 casting rod today. I have a couple of old .fishing Accurist baitcast reels laying around so I put one on it and spooled it with some Berkley Fishing Trilene XL 20lb line. Can't wait to get it out on the water!

Tried a different spot today on my lunch break. The Moreau River access off of U.S. highway 50. It was rather cold and windy.

I took the jon boat down to Table Rock lake this morning to give the ol' 9.9 some run time after getting it back from the shop. Only to have both fuel fittings on the hose, leak. 🤬🤬🤬 So, I gave the Endura Max 45 a workout today instead. I still can't catch fish, but it was peaceful. Incredibly windy ahead of the front today.

I did a little fishing yesterday on the James River from US 65 back to the east and on the way back to the truck I put the camera on the back of the jon boat and filmed a little video of the Fall colors and the river. Enjoy!
