Valley Eye Radio was proud to receive a 1st place award at the IAAIS- International Association of Audio Information Services Virtual Conference this Summer and it arrived in the mail today!

Kathy, who has been a dedicated volunteer reader for a number of years, does a fantastic job of collecting and reading these diary notes published in the NY Times. One of her many recordings in this series was recognized by the judges for this year's conference.

Thank you to Kathy and all of our volunteer family for the fine work that you do every week for Valley Eye Radio and our listeners!

Valley Eye Radio was proud to join in with the many people who had a great time at the annual Picnic for the Visually Impaired held by the East Longmeadow Lions Club at the Pleasant View Senior Center last Saturday.

We're proud of all the great community work done by the East Longmeadow Lions and very grateful for the donation that they made to Valley Eye Radio at the event.

It was a great time for us to meet with a number of our friends with visual impairments and I'm sure that everyone is already looking forward to next year!
