Logos: A Journal of Undergraduate Research

Logos: A Journal of Undergraduate Research LOGOS: A Journal of Undergraduate Research, run out of the Honors College at Missouri State University, publishes undergraduate work from all disciplines.

LOGOS was originally envisioned in 2007 by Dr. John Chuchiak, Professor of Colonial Latin American History, after he received an endowed Young Honors College Professorship. The Young Professorship included funding to support innovative new projects in undergraduate instruction and research. Chuchiak worked with Dr. Arthur Spisak, Director of the Honors College, and Dr. Mark Richter, Professor of C

hemistry, to organize and launch LOGOS as a tool to both promote undergraduate research at Missouri State and to provide students with valuable publishing and editing experience. In Fall 2008, the first volume of LOGOS was published, and the project has continued to grow in scope and success. Today, Dr. Chuchiak is the Director of the Honors College and a member of the Faculty Advisory Board, joined by Tracy Dalton, Dr. Joshua Smith, and Dr. Rajiv Thakur as we continue to publish high-quality student research.
