Well, you all know that little icon up there, that says "what's on your mind"? Don't ask what you don't wanna hear. Or what I don't want to have to say but it's said....
I would like to announce my abject and absolute failure in bringing something to the musical community that was sorely missing and still is.
Effective February 27, 2025 Wrekless Rabbit Studios LLC Springfield Illinois will be closed.
We came to Springfield to offer the musicians and musical community rooms for rehearsal places to practice, equipment rentals, professional audio assistance, lighting assistance and array and tech rentals. We've offered lessons on guitar, drums and vocals. We have mentored and produced 3 working bands in 1 year, and I thank each and every one of you for the ride.
But that's all it was.The studio has never made a DIME off any artist we produced, or promoted or developed and put out there, who are now in working bands being paid in Springfield and central Illinois.
While it's been truly amazing to develop bands and put bands out there, and to be able to work with my band in a studio that was comfortable, convenient and caring, in fact, it was my home, the only thing I got accomplished was going bankrupt and having my kindnesses taken for weakness.
There have been horrible, horrible rumors started about me, my family, my business and our premises.
Enough is enough. Please feel free to continue practicing in your dank basements, your black mold infested sheds. Or your Grandma's basement. Oh, by the way, you never once heard the words "turn it down" in here. I just want to say I'm very bitter about this. I'm so disappointed in you Springfield, Illinois (after all, you were my birthplace.), and in all the music community for not banding behind something that came through to help this community. I thank you for your time and for the allegiance of the Wrekless Rabbit Nation. Unfortunately the wolves have killed the Rabbit. Please be advised, if you have any equipment stored here, it will need to be removed by February 14th. Any equipment left after that date will disposed of in a Studio approved manner.
