Protein of choice cooked with vegetables bathed in a rich, earthy sauce of whole cardamon, cloves, cinnamon, star anise and sweet Indonesian soy sauce. (A spectacular dish from Java)

This dish hits all your umami senses like a pinball in a pinball machine. Like a ā€œFlavor Townā€ roller coaster of flavors that ignite every sense and get your taste buds salivating for more. Just thinking of this sauce-like gravy makes my mouth salivate.

This dish is absolutely extraordinary and you can feel the intense flavor of the Cinnamon, Cardamon, Star Anise & Cloves just bubbling up through each bite. One of the fun things for me was pulling out each piece of these fresh ingredients and sucking on them as you would the bone in a steak and then putting them to the side.

This dish is accompanied by the most fragrant coconut rice and 3 types of cabbage as well as array of dipping sauces and fried tapioca shells.

I highly recommend giving this little quant eatery a try in Hollywood Florida. I sat outside near the street to catch the vibe of the locals and tourists walking and enjoying the city.

There is also this cool little mystic shop next door were they read palms and such, next time I might go get my chakra realigned šŸ˜‰

La Roux Bistro on Commercial Street - Springfield Missouri has so much love and detail into every aspect. My buddy and foodie friend Joseph Gidman developed this concept amongst his other amazing eateries on this historic part of Springfield. From the moment you walk in you feel at home. The beautiful murals, the upbeat vibe upstairs to the middle level where you literally walk into the kitchen to the downstairs vault. There is history around every turn and no expense was spared on the vibe and decor. The food is very New Orleans meets C-Street and I am absolutely in love with the French Onion Soup. My wife and I went for date night last time I was in town and we had an absolute blast. My wife couldn’t stop raving about the olive tapenade and charcuterie. From the freshly baked bread to the delicious appetizers and main dishes to dessert it’s hard to go wrong. Come hungry and come thirsty because your La Roux Family awaits to make you feel at home. They even made us some fun mocktails to sip on as we waited for our seat that were divine! Thanks to all that made this dream a reality, we adore you!

Litys chips are hands down the best chips on the planet. These legends care so much they put the chips in a paint can so nothing gets crushed. I am on this flight with my can of Litys and feeling unstoppable. I do not travel anywhere without them. Crunch level elite. Flavor level unreal. Vibe level sky high. I buy mine at Marando Farms & Ranch - Davie and you should too!

Last night aboard the yacht in Nassau Bahamas we tried the ā€œFruit Riot Sour Pineappleā€ frozen Frandy.

I wanted to love these so bad but they did not slap at all. They looked like they had freezer burn but apparently that is part of the look which made it even worse. Then the sour punched you all at once and the pineapple after that just felt off. Honestly just stick with frozen pineapple. Way better every time.

Joined on the squad was Stewardess & Deckhand we did not approve of this message. And for eight dollars a bag it is a hard pass. Two thumbs down.

Chef Paul Yacht Reviews - Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate - Part 2

Taste test time on the yacht. The chocolate itself is creamy with that classic Lindt smoothness, and the crunch is actually really nice. The milk chocolate flavor is solid and they do a decent job overall. But for fifteen dollars… it’s a little pricey for what you get. I’ve had worse, I’ve had better, and the filling definitely isn’t on the gourmet level you’d find in a specialty shop.

Still, not bad, just overpriced. I’m excited to try that viral NYC one next. And remember, we do these reviews right from the yachts we cook and travel on, so you’re getting the real chef’s perspective every time.
