The Art Magick book came in by and it reminded me to let you guys know the bit of a witch book club isn't just for people who like to read but also people who like to do and create. I want to make this an inclusive space so yes we will have books on history and deeper more bookish topics but we will also cater to people who learn with their hands and doing. Just like the herb book from last time and even some what of the hearth and Home Witchcraft book because it also has recipes and how tos in it. I will be choosing what art Magick project I want to do in my stories throughout this month so keep your eyes peeled for what I have up my sleeve.

Some of my small quartz crystals I personally mined at with .thoughts.shop I stored it in this iridescent thrifted bottle ready for all the spell jars I'm bound to make. Also saved some for more of my handmade jewelry I have been making. Crystal polymer mushroom earrings are coming soon to my ears 😁 rocks and crystals are apart of our natural world all around you. Look up your nearest mining spot and go or go on a hike and pick up cool rocks (who doesn't like cool rocks?!?) Quartz crystal is an amplifier. Quartz is actually what makes our phones what they are today. They are magical and they have a vibration that amplifies your intention. So they can be placed anywhere or in any spell.

🌕 I can't wait to have land where I can do full moon rituals without looking like a crazy person to my neighbors. Blue moons are a rare occurrence and no the moon isn't actually blue. I'm manifesting platonic and romantic love. I put hibiscus flower petals, rose petals, cinnamon, and catnip. With the planets all up in their emotional eras I'm hoping I can find some emotionally mature adults to do live with. ♥️

I'm doing DIY Witch's Bells right now for my front door. In preparation for the book club that will be happening at my house. Got to protect this house and energy from anyone that might have ill intentions. Well, I went to the hobby lobby to get some bells and I stumbled upon the mosaic section where there were bottles of stones. Some were all the same like tigers eye or obsidian. I saw this mixture and it says jade mix but there is moss agate, rose quartz and so much more in here. The regular price is $10.99 but it was 40% or 50% off. So a great deal for beginner crystal witches. Of course, you will need to have a crystal identifier app. My recommendation is a rock identifier which allows you to take a picture of it and then it will list possibilities of what it could be.

Using witchcraft in the mundane. I'm currently on the computer applying for jobs and I have this green candle burning I put with intentions. Surrounded by clear quartz for amplification of intentions, malachite for abundance, green aventurine for luck, tourmaline for protection (no toxic workplaces PLEASE), fluorite for wealth, and green calcite for motivation and balance.

Below in the comments please leave your witchy book recommendations and your current book you are reading.

This book is what I'm currently reading and it was originally published in 1980 by a psycho-astrologer so basically a counselor and an astrologer. You may think you should just read your sun sign but she has a different approach, I like many women do not fully fit into my sun sign. I am not an emotionless, stubborn, Capricorn. Astrology is more than just the sun sign but also we go through different seasons. So maybe you are at Scorpio but you are currently in your Leo season and when you were 16 you were in your Aries season. I'm still quite perplexed about astrology and prefer numerology because I've used it for 15 years now. This book is exciting to open my knowledge on each sign and allow me to see myself from the past in some of them. Although the title leads people to believe it's a s*x book, that really doesn't encapsulate what this book is about. Also I don't think it's just for women but it's definitely geared more to them.

I just went to a metaphysical learning event and it was really good except for this. It was so disheartening to hear from "experts" teach terminology, tools, and practices, that aren't ok to use. The main culprits today were smudging, Palo Santos, and white sage. Palo Santos is a sacred wood to certain indigenous tribes and people, it has to be ritual harvested and specifics have to go into it but with the rise of new age spirituality. It is being over harvested by people that are in it for the money only and don't care about the energy and that Palo Santos is becoming now endangered and hard to come by for the people that have used it for thousands of years. Also white sage is under very similar circumstances although it is not endangered, it is on many radars for ecologists and natives because of the over harvesting of it. You can use plenty of other types of sage to cleanse and protect. Burning Palo Santos and White Sage is sometimes called smudging but that is not the correct term. What mainstream people are doing is smoke cleansing, smudging on the other hand is a sacred ritual done in certain indigenous cultures and many indigenous people have stated that it is cultural appropriation to use the term smudging because it is not the appropriate word and we are stealing their culture and making it our own. Now if you have bought these tools or used this terminology that is ok as long as you learn from it. Ignorance is not a bad thing but wilfill ignorance and conscious cultural appropriation after you have learned about it is not ok. Its hard for me though as a white woman to speak to this and other things I've seen because I don't want to be that person that says ridiculous things like differently abled person instead of disabled person (disabled isn't a bad word) or insist everyone use person first language or use the term unhoused people instead of homeless people.

This is a great starter deck for people very new to tarot, as it has the meanings on the card. There are a plethora of cards out there and you can go right in with a regular card and just use the book for the meanings that come with it or utilize what you see from the cards themselves, but I feel as if this is a good alternative for people who are nervous about trying it out, its like training wheels for tarot.

BBC Witch goes over the history of it and is only 9 episodes.

Comfy Cozy Witch is about a solo practitioner who is a writer of many witchy books and she goes very comfy and cozy with it.

The Magick Kitchen Podcast is with two very seasoned witches talking about kitchen Magick, relevant topics, and sometimes goes into deeper topics.

That witch podcast works a lot with astrology and does weekly readings and goes over many other topics.

The new witches is half a spooky true crime show and a show about witchy topics such as the differences between each witch category.

Stir your coffee ☕ counter clockwise for releasing energy, maybe you want to release your anger or a bad habit, maybe your having a rough morning release that energy by stirring counter clockwise.

Stir your coffee ☕ clockwise to bring intentions and energy in so manifest a good and happy day. Manifest growing as a person and growing a strong relationship with people.

Add a dash of cinnamon for abundance and wealth plus it tastes sooooo good.

With these tips you don't have to buy anything but you can be just a little more intentional and witchy in your everyday life.
